Miami Dolphins Pick Arnold

NEW YORK Arnold's office here has added the National Football League's Miami Dolphins following a review, the agency said today.

The win helps Havas-owned Arnold strengthen and expand its sports-marketing reputation honed mainly through efforts with former client the United States Tennis Association. The work rolls out through he summer in the run-up to the fall NFL season and will include TV, print, radio, collateral, online and out-of-home efforts.

John Staffen, CCO at Arnold in N.Y., said the shop would attempt to communicate the Dolphins' promise to provide "the most complete and exciting fan experience, as well as one that defines South Florida. In fact, we can't wait to make numerous field trips to Land Shark Stadium on Sundays this fall."

The 2009 Miami Dolphins campaign will continue to roll out throughout the summer and will include TV, print, radio, collateral, online, and out-of-home executions. Stephen Ross, the new majority owner and CEO of team parent Related Cos., praised the shop's ability to communicate both on-field excitement and the entertainment experience of the stadium.

I've recently completed the entire layout of my 700 Sq Ft, 1 Bedroom, 1.5 Bath condo using Google's Sketch Up 7. Since finishing, I took a step back and looked again at the way my unit is organized. I began to create "what-if" scenarios, modernizing the look and feel while making more use of the current space.

Hershey's decided it was time to relaunch the Twizzlers brand this year, and so did we. Celebrating it's 10 year return, we wanted to give the viewers some eye candy. It's purely fun, upbeat and a little bit twisty.

Yesterday, Ad Age published an article claiming what they felt were the top songs used in an ad this year. Somewhat surprising (not because of the musical talent, but for the lack of any media push), our spot for Timex iControl using the Liars, "clear island" was rated amongst the top five.

Arnold Worldwide took the fiery-orange waveform of a Liars track and made a runner sprint through it as it explodes around him. The band chants in the background with a long, droning chord, and the relentless intensity is only broken by a few dime-turning guitar breaks. It's not the stuff of hook-laden "modern hard rock," and the audacious choice makes for the most memorable watch commercial we've ever seen.

After a few long months, and a week in London – the latest spot and print ad I've been working on for Starbucks Chocolate is finally finished. The animation house we worked with, Slinky was awesome. It's official. The Timex iControl spot I have been working with Nervo is finally complete. So far, I've received some nice feedback from those who have had the chance to see it. I'm pretty proud of this, not only because it's my first spot – but it looks phenomenal. I can't praise Nando and his team more. They are fantastic!

Well, the Clinique Happy custom bottle project I worked on a few months ago has finally launched on clinique.com. It's a cool item and could be a good gift for someone you don't know what to get them. You can upload an image (picture of yourself, or a sweet drawing) and clinique will place it on the bottle and send it to you. Look for an instore kiosk closer to the holidays.
